What's News
Welcome To PhoenixPhyre 2010
Phoenix Phyre 2010 – April 7-11, 2010
This pagan gathering site is conveniently located in Central Florida at 2505 West Bella Vista Street in Lakeland, FL. This is the same site with the same accommodations as we had in October, at AutumnMeet 2009. The solar showers worked very well, the portopotties were adequate, and we’ll be adding more for this event.
Tent camping is available and RV’s are welcome, but there are no RV hookups on this site. There is no electricity available on site. Generators are welcome but their use will restrict your available camping area choices (this applies to RV’s also). Alternative methods of power generation are also welcomed and encouraged. The site boasts ample room, drumming all night, a swimming pool, and an owner who is very friendly to all of our community.
Close to Exit 31 from I-4. Phoenix Phyre 2010 will be held in a wonderful grove “Under the Oaks”. There are many hotels, restaurants, grocery stores nearby. Ground fires are NOT permitted but campfires in those raised portable campfires are, after a safety inspection by our staff to make sure you’ve raked the combustibles away from the fireplace and have water or an extinguisher nearby. There is no extra wood for a fire on site though, so remember to bring wood for your fire!
The site is clothing optional and skyclad friendly. We will be moving the RV area to the eastern side of the site to restrict visual access to that public road, allowing for a greater area of skyclad friendliness.
There are many workshop offerings during the event, but there is always room for one more, if you have knowledge, a craft, or a skill to share, please send a workshop entry in with your registration (or email us separately) and we’ll fit it into the schedule. Additional workshop Information…
Please make every effort to pack out what you pack in. It’s just the right thing to do and ”Mom” likes it.
There are no provisions available for early arrival for this event. Gates open at 9am on the 7th and close at 4 pm on the 11th. Everyone must be off site by 4 pm on Sunday. Registration is now open.
